Black Christians have an unwavering passion for the Democrat Party. The love is arguably not reciprocal. Overall, Democrat leaders do not concern themselves too much with the core beliefs of Christianism. In many social issues like homosexuality, abortion, and transgenderism, the Democrat leadership clearly takes a position diametrically opposite to that of the Bible.
The Democrats champion same-sex marriage; Christians do not, but this divergence of interest leaves most Christians undeterred. The Democrats support abortion. Many prominent Democrats support even late-term abortion. Christianism does not. California, a Democrat state, supports minors as young as 12 years old changing their genders through drugs or surgery without parental consent (If a healthcare professional finds them mature enough). Christianism does not. Yet according to a recent census, 70% of Black Protestants are Democrats.
I view my fellow Christians as bipolar. Or maybe even showing signs of split personality. It is like they have two separate people living inside them, one that believes in Jesus and the Bible and another one that blindly follows the Liberals. You might think that the Christians who are diehard Dems are ignorant of the will of God; instead, per my observation, the most radical Christian Democrats are among the church leaders (Pastors and elders).
Black Christian Republicans may have to take a break from church services during the months preceding the Presidential election if they want to enjoy a little peace and worship. It has already started; the pulpit is becoming increasingly a platform for the Democrats to push their candidate to the White House.
In the meantime, our children, learning from our positions, are becoming increasingly liberal. We talk the talk, they walk the walk, and we are surprised when we realize that they are living what we are preaching.
